Chief Dennis Ejikeme Okwu, fondly called "Sweetapple," is a renowned businessman, philanthropist, political leader, and youth mentor. Born in Ikeduru L.G.A of Imo State, he has risen to become a national icon through hard work, education, and dedication to societal upliftment. With degrees in Mass Communication and Maritime Administration, and as the founder of multiple businesses including Sweetapple Services Ltd., he exemplifies excellence in leadership and purpose.

Chief Okwu was born to the humble family of late Sabastine Okwu of Umuchoke Amambaa Uzoagba Ikeduru L.G.A, on June 27, 1966. He started his educational pursuit at Amambaa Primary School,Uzoagba and later proceeded to Obazu Community School and Enyiogugu Secondary School, where he obtained his WASC. Unlike some of his mates, Chief Okwu did not have the luxury of immediate sponsorship to a higher institution at the completion of his secondary school. But by a dint of hard work, sacrifice and ambition, he has today achieved more academically than most of his peers. To his credit, he holds a Bachelors and Masters degrees in Mass Communication and MBA in Maritime Administration, after passing through the University of Port-Harcourt Choba (Uniport), University of Science and Technology (UST) Port Harcourt and Lloyd (Maritime) Academy, London.
